Our company was founded in 2004 by a former IBM technology professional. After a successful corporate career managing complex, large-scale enterprise systems, our founder recognized a massive gap in the market: local, small-to-medium businesses were being underserved by traditional IT providers. They lacked access to sophisticated, high-level technical strategy.
To bridge this gap, we initially launched as a Geeks on Call franchise. This allowed us to deliver responsive on-site and remote IT support to businesses and high-end consumers. By 2013, our client needs had evolved, requiring deeper engineering, continuous network monitoring, and advanced security.
To meet this demand, we departed from the franchise structure. We established our own fully independent managed services provider (MSP): Geeks on Call of the Triangle.
